- Artist’s book part of the Benedictus PP. XVI Library collection.
- Comprising 272 pages in the closed format of 28×42.5 cm for a limited edition of 699 copies numbered in Arabic numerals from 1/699 to 699/999.
- The texts were set in round and italic Bodonian typefaces in sizes 28, 18, and 13 at the printing house of Lamberto Pigini in Loreto.
- The velum paper, made of pure cotton weighing 170 gsm, is adorned with a papal watermark created manually on a frame at Cartiere Magnani in Pescia.
- The binding in natural parchment, with silver inscriptions, was crafted manually at the Art of Bookbinding workshop by Bruno Superti in Todi.
- Three plates out of text were created by the artist Julio Lopez Hernandez using serigraphy at Squadro, Ennio Fresco’s art printing house in Bologna.
- On the front and back covers, there are two original low-relief bronze sculptures with a silver patina of 800 thousandths, created by the artist Julio Lopez Hernandez using the ground fusion process at the artistic workshop Farbel by Giuseppe Belotti in Erbusco.
- Conceived in an edition under the guidance of Marilena Ferrari in Bologna on the occasion of the announcement of the Pauline year and completed on April 19, 2009, marking the fourth anniversary of Benedict XVI’s election to the Chair of Peter.
- The first copy is reserved for His Holiness Benedict XVI.
