- The volume was created to celebrate the canonization of Pope John Paul II on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 27, 2014. It is produced in a limited edition of one thousand four hundred and twenty-five copies numbered in Arabic numerals from 1/1425 to 1425/1425, and seventy-five copies numbered in Roman numerals from I/LXXV to LXXV/LXXV.
- The first copy is reserved for His Holiness Pope Francis.
- The typefaces used are Bodonian, both round and italic, printed at the Lamberto Pigini Printing House in Loreto.
- The velum paper, made of pure cotton weighing 180 grams, was specially manufactured for this edition with a unique formula designed for art publishing by Cartiere Magnani of Pescia and adorned with the papal watermark of John Paul II.
- The stitching, binding, and the cover made of fine natural calf leather, dyed in the barrel in a natural white color, were executed at the “L’Arte del Libro” Art Bindery in Todi.
- Master Giuliano Vangi conceived the entire original iconographic corpus, consisting of seventy-two plates and drawings elaborated in photolithography at Mirco Cestari’s workshop in Bologna and printed with special colors at the Lamberto Pigini Printing House in Loreto.
- An artwork created by artist Giuliano Vangi using lithosilkscreen technique on a metal plate measuring 28×36 cm is placed on the cover of the volume, produced at the Luigi Berardinelli Art Printing House in Verona.
- Each volume is accompanied by a full-page plate created by Giuliano Vangi, printed in limited edition through lithographic printing on 32×45 cm Hahnemule paper, using a mixed lithosilkscreen technique at the Luigi Berardinelli Art Printing House in Verona.
