• Edition produced in a limited run of nine hundred and ninety-nine copies numbered in Arabic numerals from 1/999 to 999/999, and twenty-five copies numbered in Roman numerals from I/XXV to XXV/XXV, intended for the principal Marian sanctuaries and places of worship.
• The introductory essay on the figure of Mary is curated by Father Vincenzo Battaglia, President of the Pontifical International Marian Academy, along with an essay on Marian iconography concluding with a critical description of the Canons’ work, curated by Sandro Barbagallo, curator of the Historical Collections of the Vatican Museums and the Lateran Treasury Museum.
• For the composition of poetic texts dedicated to the Virgin, inserted into 32 plates derived from details of the originals, the Pannartz 1467 typeface was used, inspired by the first edition of Saint Augustine’s “De Civitate Dei” printed in 1467 by Konrad Sweynheuym and Arnold Pannartz. The introductory texts composed in the Bodoni typeface were executed at the Lamberto Pigini Printing House in Loreto.
• The pure chiffon paper weighing 250gsm was specially created for this work by Cartiere Magnani of Pescia.
• The binding in fine leather dyed in the Oltremare Blue color, enriched with hot silver impressions, was executed at the Book Art Bindery of Bruno Superti in Todi.
• The iconographic corpus, directly curated by the artist Jacques Canonici in Pontigny, consists of seventeen single-page plates, twenty-six double-page plates, and three four-fold plates, printed with a special technique in five color passes at the Lamberto Pigini Printing House in Loreto.
• A full-page plate, by artist Jacques Canonici in Pontigny, screen-printed in eight manual passes on 36×54 cm Hahnemuhle paper at the Luigi Berardinelli Art Printing House in Verona.
• On the front cover, a work created through an eight-color manual screen-printing process on a 41×27 cm wooden board, produced at the Luigi Berardinelli Art Printing House in Verona.
• The work was created on the occasion of the Jubilee proclaimed by Pope Francis and bears the official mark of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy granted by the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization.
• The first copy in Arabic numerals is reserved for His Holiness Pope Francis.
• The first copy in Roman numerals is reserved for the Sanctuary of the Holy House of Loreto.
